Privacy

TripNest is local-first: trip data lives on your device by default. Cloud AI, sync, and media vault (when enabled) process only what you send. We do not sell personal trip content.

Device identity. A random device id authorizes AI quotas and entitlements. Invite codes unlock encrypted sync mailboxes; the server stores ciphertext only.

Retention. Sync mailboxes expire after inactivity (~14 days). Share Packs delete after TTL or when recipients finish downloading. Personal vault media lasts while you keep a vault entitlement. Explore guides stay until you unpublish.

AI. Hosted prompts go through our Cloudflare Worker to OpenRouter and/or Workers AI. Do not send secrets you would not trust a model provider with.

Payments. Apple IAP on iOS/Mac; Paddle on web. Affiliates (Booking / Travelpayouts) may set cookies when you open external book links.
